The Custance Centre explores the relationship between Science and Scripture while remaining faithful to the established facts of Science and the revealed truths of Scripture. Through education and dialogue, its aim is to develop, among Christians, a theologically based scientific understanding of reality. This centre will benefit Christians who have ever wondered about the theological AND scientific implications of: |

Arthur C. Custance (1910 – 1985) was a British born Canadian who wrote about the unique connections between scientific research and biblical understanding bringing together faith and reason [see Biography of Arthur Custance]. He originally published, through Doorway Publications, a series of scholarly papers relating biblical truths to scientific facts. These Doorway Papers were republished in a ten-volume set known as The Doorway Papers Series, and these works have been distributed worldwide. Arthur Custance also wrote 6 books providing fresh insights into our creation and redemption, and our journey into the glorious world to come. These books include: Journey Out of Time, The Mysterious Matter of Mind, The Seed of the Woman, Sovereignty of Grace, Two Men Called Adam, Without Form and Void. The Centre continues to promote the vision and mission of Arthur Custance by bringing scientific and biblical knowledge together into an organic whole without compromising the truth in either field of study.
