ABSTRACT

The thesis of this book is that each of the historical facts which lies behind the Creeds of our Faith is essential to the whole Plan of Redemption.
Yet the book is neither a mere re-statement of the Great Fundamentals of the Faith, nor simply a defence of them. Its theme is the connecting links between them.
The Christian Faith is not merely a series of Articles: it has an essential organic unity that is destroyed and made entirely irrational, and logically indefensible, if any part of the whole is surrendered.

No element of the Faith CAN be surrendered if our theology is to remain truly Christian.
No element of the Faith NEED be surrendered if we rightly understand the significance of today's advanced knowledge.
